And just like that, we exist!
Welcome to LootLocker, and the LootLocker blog! We built LootLocker to put the power of common game, backend, and live ops systems in the hands of every developer, regardless of team size and competence. Usually game backends are a scary word, only reserved for MMOs or large budget productions. They require developing from scratch or the tireless integration of different complex services — and even if you did end up setting one up yourself, you the developer were tethered to the backend for the rest of your life as you added new features to your game or wasted valuable time managing catalogus of assets or your player profiles.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just integrate the backend and then hand it off to a non-developer to fix everything else?
That’s exactly why we built LootLocker. We want to free up your time so that you can spend more time making your game awesome. Let someone else populate the backend with assets, create a leveling and unlock progression system, or manage player refunds.
Over the course of this blog we will tell you more about who we are, demonstrate new and existing LootLocker features, show you how easy they are to work with, and hopefully inspire you to help make your games even better.
So, stay tuned!
