Player Insights: Understand Your Players at a Glance
Given where LootLocker sits in the overall tech stack of a game (authenticating every player who starts the game) it only makes sense that we surface some of the key insights that developers and publishers can use to understand how their games are performing and who their players are.
With Player Insights, you can now visualize essential player metrics directly in your LootLocker web console, giving you an instant overview of your game’s health and audience composition.
Available Insights
LootLocker currently provides the following core metrics:
- Platform Distribution: Total players and a breakdown of which platforms they’re playing on
- Daily Active Players: Unique player sessions per day
- New Players: Number of new players joining each day
- Monthly Active Players: Total active players per month
And this is just the start. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be expanding Insights with additional data, including average playtime and player regions, to give you even deeper visibility into your audience.
Getting Started
There’s nothing you need to configure, Player Insights are automatically available for any game using the LootLocker SDK with active players.
